This one has been in the works for a while...
Some years ago, I saw a picture of this knot somewhere and just had to figure out how to tie it. It took many tries, but was well worth the effort. In the interest of sharing it with others, here is a free PDF document that has the step by step instructions. |

Just so that you aware, this is not as simple to tie as it looks. It may take several attempts to get it to work out properly. One way to check your progress is to know that before you double the knot, the front and back sides should look identical.
